First Solemn Reception Ceremony at St. Leo Oratory
The Confraternity of Christian Mothers of St. Leo Oratory canonically established by Bishop Earl Fernandes celebrated their first Solemn Reception Ceremony on September 15, 2022, Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. By enrollment in the Confraternity, these women dedicate themselves in a particular way to the sanctification of their families and daily prayers for their children, under the patronage of Our Lady of Sorrows. The Christians Mothers support each other in living out faithfully these duties of their state in life. The ceremony consists in the blessing and distribution of the Sorrowful Mother medals, the engagement to fulfill the duties of Christian Mothers, and consecratory prayer to Our Lady of Sorrows. Finally, new members sign their name in the register.
